It’s no surprise that all the dogs already have homes…it was national news! That’s pretty good exposure for pups in need of a home. The part that upsets ME is that while breeding IS a choice, every time another puppy is born, that’s ONE more person that won’t be adopting a dog from a shelter.

Breeding may be a choice, but for a huge number of shelters across the country, euthanizing homeless dogs due to lack of space is NOT a choice…it’s a horrible, but necessary decision that has to be made…many of THESE dogs are also marvelous.

Actually, American Bulldogs DO NOT typically require C-Sections. It is the English Bulldogs who need C-sections. American Bulldogs actually have a fairly easy time delivering. These are marvelous dogs. Although breeding is not always a wise choice, it is a choice and believe it or not, all of those pups already have homes.

I’m sure there are parents who would like to sell or give away their kid/kids if they could. I actually heard of a hispanic guy who sold his underage daughter for marriage and all he wanted was beer and some other drinks and a few other things. It was on the news a year ago or so I think. CrazY!

Because you can’t give away or sell kids as easily/legally. But dang, that’s a lot of pups!

NOT to mention that American Bulldogs have very difficult births and almost always needs c-sections to complete them due to their large heads. Good job looking out for your beloved dog, owners. And the words “I want to breed my dog” just make me cringe…why doesn’t people just go around and say, “I want to breed my kids,” then?
