One of the hottest topics currently in the news about President-elect Barack Obama and his family is what kind of dog they will select as “First Dog” of the White House.
Obama recently pointed out that one of his daughters, Malia, has pet allergies, so the family would need to find a dog that is hypoallergenic.
An organization in Peru called the Peruvian Hairless Dog Association has offered the Obama family a four-month-old puppy. The Peruvian Hairless is the official dog of Peru, and would be a good fit for the Obamas’ allergy concerns, according to the organization.
No word yet on whether the Obamas would accept the dog.

I don’t know . . . I hate to admit, but this isn’t really an attractive dog. I’m sure they make good companions like most dogs, but this dog is giving me the heebie jeebies.
I honestly have to agree with you here…I tried, I really really tried to see this dog as cute.
I’m sure they’re great dogs…but man…
