According to an article in the Daily Telegraph, the Nintendo Wii and Apple iPod are among the top ten gadgets most likely to injure pets.

The list came about as a result of a survey of 3,000 animal owners by insurance company Petplan.

It was not revealed exactly how these gadgets led to animal injuries–dogs chewing on iPods and swallowing parts, perhaps?

One game of tennis on the Nintendo Wii could easily result in a small dog or cat getting stepped on (I own a Wii and I have five pets…luckily, my animals have learned to stay far, far away whenever they see me flailing around like an idiot in front of the TV).

Sweeet... there are 2 comment(s) so far ;)

What were some of the other gadgets on the list?

Ahhhh yes good question. Laptop, remote control, cell phone…and two of the strangest: Plasma TV and Karaoke machine. Proof that bad singing is just as bad for pets as it is for humans.
