On most days, a 14-lb rat terrier versus a five foot shark would be no contest. Luckily, Jake the rat terrier’s owner was nearby.
During his daily swim at a Florida marina, a shark grabbed Jake in its mouth. After seeing the attack, Jake’s owner jumped into the water and punched the back of the shark. After the punch, the shark let go of the dog.
The dog managed to escape the ordeal with only minor bite wounds.
