I’ll admit there are plenty of times when I walk the dogs that I don’t actually walk them very much–basically, I stand out with them until they squat/lift leg two or three times. So I guess it’s understandable that they aren’t exactly winded from these mini outings.

After one week in our new apartment, it’s safe to say the five-minute leg-lifters are a thing of the past.

Not only are the grounds around our complex huge, but on the way back, just to make sure they’re good and pooped, we take the stairs instead of the elevator. FOUR glorious flights of stairs! Muahahaha…

Once we’re back home, they’re both panting and fighting for the water bowl.

It’s nice to see them a lot less bored during the day, and a little more tired when it’s bedtime.
