Dogs Get Hitched in Mass Wedding in India

dogwedding.jpgMore than 500 dogs and 400 dog owners took part in what is believed to be India’s first mass “wedding” of dogs last weekend.

The event featured all of the things you’d expect to see at a human wedding: Musicians, flower arrangements, photographers and cake.

The doggie matches were originally made when owners sent pictures of their pets to event officials, who then sent a list of dogs for the owners to choose from–just think eHarmony.com…for the canine community.
