A 19-year-old Illinois man was sentenced to 60 days in prison for stealing a puppy and blowing marijuana smoke in its face.
The Pomeranian puppy was stolen from a Naperville, Ill. pet store in late March. The man was accused of blowing marijuana smoke in the dog’s face until it passed out.
The man was also given 30 months’ probation and will have to have frequent drug tests.
The dog was returned to the store three days after the theft and has since been adopted.
