shelterdogs.jpgAnimal shelter volunteer and photographer Traer Scott took many pictures of dogs for shelter records and to put on Web sites.

Her inspiration for creating this book of portraits came when she realized that many of the dogs who served as her models never got adopted, and never got a chance to live their lives to their natural end.

Her pictures are amazing–they capture the essence of our furry best friends and showcase exactly what it is about them that bring smiles to our faces. She also includes the stories of each of these dogs.

All bittersweet and worth every moment of it.

This book can be found at all bookstores and online.
