dogwheelchair.jpgWhen dogs fall victim to health problems that lead to loss of mobility, custom wheelchairs help keep these wounded pooches on all fours.

A growing number of businesses are popping up that sell custom made two-wheeled carts for pets. The chairs support the dogs’ midsection and are secured with shoulder and chest straps.

Typically, dogs most in need of these chairs are those who develop neurological diseases or disc and spine problems.

Since the chairs are custom-made, their cost usually depends on the size of the dog. The cost usually ranges from $250-$500.
