Questions about Electric Shock

For whatever reason, Casper has began licking the top of my lap top whenever he’s sitting next to me…which leads me to my questions:

Question #1: Can he get electric shock if he licks the wires that are underneath the keyboard?

Question #2: Is he eventually going to damage my lappie if he doesn’t damage himself first? Keep in mind that Casper has a disporportionally large tongue for his small size.
